Dr. Turner (Laura Schrib) grew up in Canyon, Tx and graduated from Canyon High School in 1998. There she met her now husband Dr. Dustin Turner; and after both attending Texas A&M University (WHOOP) in College Station, Tx and professional schools in Houston, TX moved back to the Texas Panhandle.

Dr. Turner became interested in dentistry when she was in braces in highschool. Her orthodontist assistant began to talk to her about what a great field it was for someone who loved science and wanted a career and a family. On a mission trip, when Dr. Turner was a sophomore in college, she realized that being a dentist was truly her dream and would and could be her mission field. Dr. Turner met Dr. Gilbert the first day of dental school orientation and quickly became good friends. They worked, studied, and played together essentially did life together and become more like family. Dr. Turner was more than ecstatic when Dr. Brady and Dr. Gilbert invited her to come and be a part of the Brady Dental Group!

Dr. Turner married her highschool sweetheart in December 2002. Dr. Dustin Turner M.D. practices family medicine at his practice, Access M.D. Together they have, in their opinion, 2 amazing children, Levi and Ashley. Levi just started Jr. High School and enjoys playing all the school sports and learning a multiple of new things. Ashley is currently in her last year of elementary school and enjoys playing basketball and is going to give volleyball a try this year as well. One of Dr. Turner’s very favorite things to do is to watch her kids do what they love. Many weekends, as well as many hours during the week, are devoted to practices, lessons, games and tournaments.

Dr. Turner hopes that being on these teams will teach her children the value of teamwork, what it means to give it all you have, for a team and not just for your benefit, to be one to  encourage and to be able to celebrate others successes; being a good winner and a good loser. Also very importantly teaching them that they can do hard things and there is a great value in hard work and discipline.

In the summer of 2020 Levi and Ashley finally convinced their parents that they needed a puppy, so in October of 2020 the family headed to College Station, Tx to pick up Oakley, their mini aussiedoodle He has really wormed his way into everyone's’ heart and has just become a part of the family.

Dr. Turner loves to hang out with her family and friends, playing board games into the late hours of the night and going on quick little getaway trips to the lake or to the ranch for a change of scenery. She also loves to sing! When there is music, expect her to be singing along, even while she is working on patients. Her singing has taken her to Guatemala where she helped to lead worship for the Guatemalan missionary convention, and she also is on the praise team for Hillside Christian Church in Canyon, Tx, where she and her family are active members.
